A content management system (CMS) is a web application used for managing web sites with dynamic content. The power of content management systems is that any non-techincal personnel can input site contect, using simple web forms, while the output is perfectly formatted to match the look and feel of your existing site - no HMTL or design knowledge is required to update the web site. Since updates are handled using your web browser, web site content may be edited from home, work, or any computer that has internet access.

A simple example of how content management works can be seen below. Just complete the form, providing a title and a small paragraph, the information you enter will be displayed above this section, perfectly formatted to match the appearrance of this web page.

Custom Web Applications
Placing your web application on a secure web server allows your organizations customers, and staff to access business data using a web browser - whether at home, office, or any location that has Internet access. For example, customers could access their account online to update their contact information.

The more automated your site, the less overhead and man hours will be required at the office level to serve your customers. For example, a 'Forgot Password' feature on your web site will virtually eliminate office personnel from having to deal with customer login issues.
